Grange-Over-Sands is a charming Edwardian resort nestled between the breath-taking vistas of England’s Lake District fells and the long, sandy sweep of Morecambe Bay. It offers one of the mildest climates in the north and is easily accessible with excellent rail and road links. Up until 1887, Grange-over-Sands was inaccessible other than over the sands from Lancaster. This quiet seaside retreat on the Southern tip of the Cartmel peninsula, between the mountains and the sea, is just seven miles from Lake Windermere.
