| Established in East Lancashire in 1878 and family run by the Davies family since the 1950’s, Dysons Arts now has Galleries in Barrowford and Clitheroe where they represent the work of local, national and international artists via occasional specialist exhibitions throughout the year. Dysons is also a Guild Commended Picture Framer thus ensuring that conservation, framing and professionalism is standard and that a wide variety of artists materials is always available. | Bacup Framing & Art Gallery is a small, independently run business located at the heart of Bacup in Lancashire. We display an incredible range of art from across the world and only display original pieces. We also provide a full picture framing service, with choices of frames and mounts. Artist in residence, David Reaper, who displays his works here in the gallery, is available for drawing or painting commissions. David is especially known for his pencil portraits that can be taken from photographs and make outstanding gifts. Another renowned local artist, Jacqueline Ashworth, works alongside David and specialises in painting portraits of your pets – again from photographs. If you have works of art to sell, then David will arrange to have it hung in the gallery for three months, taking just a small commission on the sale. |
